It is so important to get, and keep, members of the Club, as membership fees are the main funding for all the wildlife rescue work. Continuing membership ensures continuing funding throughout the yeas - but there is no commitment you can sample our newsletter as little as 1 month.
Please join the club and ensure your help so “Roger’s Wildlife Rescue” can continue to help the ever increasing numbers of wild birds and animals needing help. With so many rescue centres closing, the centre in Woodingdean gets more and more each year. Please click here to find out how to join the Club
The Local Radio Connection
Roger and Fleur first met while working on a late night programme on the old BBC Radio Sussex, where Roger had been a guest presenter for many years. Many people still remember the Sunday evening programmes known as the “Soapers and Flannellers” with Geoff Draper and the Saturday evening programmes with Mike Buckingham. Roger also worked for many years with David Legge on “David on Sunday” and, with David, started “David on Tape” when the radio station changed. It was when David could no longer continue that “Roger’s World was born.
“Roger’s World” is recorded each month in our home studio with Roger and Fleur using their previous presenting experience to keep you entertained and informed for one and half hours. Roger presents the programme, while Fleur operates the controls and chips in.
